I do promise to get better at posting to my blog.

I've been a British Citizen for about 12 days know. I've got my interview for my British Passport tomorrow morning (early evening on Wednesday 4 April - for those of you in Australia). I'm hoping to find out at the interview if they'll accept my application. I have one slight problem. You need a non-family member with a UK Passport that has known you two years to act as a countersignatory. The Passport Office has told me to write a letter explaining that I only moved here late last year and therefore have been unable to find anyone that has known me two years. The person who spoke to me couldn't promise me anything {they don't assess application} but said that should suffice.

I'm off to visit family for the Easter Weekend. I'm catching a train to Plymouth at about 9:00am (09:00) from London and I leave Plymouth at about 5:00pm (17:00). I'm really looking forward to seeing a bit more of Cornwall. In addition, the weather forecast is looking pretty good. So if everything comes together I should have a pretty good time.

The other development is that I am back in Arup's Head Office. The only real downside is that I no longer have a view of The Thames and St Pauls from my desk. However, it's nice to be somewhere that has a few more amenities (i.e. shops and the like) and to have halved my commute.

I've got day of cricket at Lords Cricket Ground coming up on 20 May 2007. The tickets sell out really fast and you have to apply as part of a ballot process. I guess if they don't sell enough they then open it up to the general public. So I'm off to see the forth day of a test match between England and West Indies. I like the fact that I'm seeing England play someone other than Australia. Especially the West Indies. Everyone loves the West Indies. That's not to say I don't want to see Australia play at Lords.

Anyway its getting late. Bye for now. Until next time.
