I did a walking tour of Oxford and at the end the guide provided a few recommendations on what you could do and one of those was to visit the Oxford University Natural History Museum and the associated Pitt Rivers Museum. Amongst the collection at the Pitt Rivers Museum was some real life shrunken heads and a description of how they are made. I just couldn't resist and had to go check them out.
In relation to Oxford itself, I thoroughly enjoyed the city and found the structure of the University quite interesting, with the University being based around Colleges. In addition to the buildings belonging to the Colleges the city itself has some really interesting looking buildings.
I would strongly recommend it to people who have not been before.
