I've been back at work three days after my two weeks in Europe. Had a great time. Two of the many highlights were finding a bar in Berlin (with good food and a great atmosphere, not to mention the huge beer selection - around 100) and the Sistine Chapel. Truth be told I actually quite enjoyed the Colosseum. The only probably was there were just too many people, especially at the Vatican.

I was even fortunate enough to be blessed by the Pope. In addition to the services the Pope does, everyday Sunday and on other religious days, the Pope comes to the window of the Vatican Library and blesses the crowd gathered in the square.

I happened to stumbled across the Australia V England Rugby World Cup Quarter Final at a bar in Rome. I was able to catch the second half and I watched with mixed emotions, being a British Citizen and all.
