For those that are interested Germany won 2:1 and the stadium was pretty much worth the wait. If anything I found it a little too big. That was my first time to a large stadium. The next big stadium I will go to will be in Cardiff where I will see Australia play Wales in the group round of the Rugby World Cup.

I had a great time in Krakow. A city well worth a visit. In addition to doing the sites of Krakow I also did a day trip to Auschwitz and the Wieliczka Salt Mine, both places I would recommend. Auschwitz is an experience that will stay with me and was extremely different to what I was expecting. The tour I did took us to both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II.

Everything in Krakow, was pretty much in walking distance. I found the food good and inexpensive and the Polish people friendly. I didn't mind the Polish Beer, there was one in particular call Okocim, which I really liked. I think for most occasions I still prefer German beer the best out of the European beers I've tried or Belgium beer depending on the circumstances. All be it I've only been to a few countries so far.

After work tomorrow I fly out to New York for a week to experience the sites of the Big Apple and to go the US Open Tennis for the middle weekend. For someone that isn't overly sport made I've done a fair bit and still go more to go. England V Germany, the US Open Tennis, a New York Yankees baseball game and Australia V Wales all within a month or so. Not to mention the two Arsenal games at the end of July.
